Fairness cup

The Fairness cup also known as Gong Dao Bei is an important tool in Chinese tea culture. It's part of the Gongfu Cha protocols and is also a must  in any Tea enthusiast cabinet.

As the tea is being steeped in the pot/Gaiwan it develops layers. And if you serve your tea to your guests without a fairness cup each guest will experience a different tea poor/medium/strong. This makes it an unfair experience.  Decanting the tea to a fairness cup combines the layers giving all the guests the same tea experience. a fair cup of tea to all.
